Who we are
The SHINE Virtual iHUB (https://shineihub.masfak.ni.ac.rs) is the online platform of the SHINE Erasmus+ project, operated by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Niš, on behalf of the project consortium.
What data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, organisation, and profile details you provide.
- Learning data: course enrolments, activity completion, grades and forum posts in the learning environment (Moodle).
- Team data: team and project membership within the iHUB.
- Technical data: server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) kept for security and troubleshooting; analytics collected via a self-hosted, privacy-first tool (Matomo) — data never leaves our server.
- Cookies: see the cookie banner for categories and consent choices.
Why we process it
To provide the platform’s educational services (contract/legitimate interest), to keep the platform secure, and to report anonymised usage statistics to the Erasmus+ programme. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Account and learning data are kept for the duration of the project and deleted or anonymised after its close-out, unless you request deletion earlier. Server logs are rotated and deleted after 90 days. Backups are retained for a limited period and stored securely.
Your rights
You may request access to, a copy of, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time via the My Data page. You may also lodge a complaint with your national data-protection authority.
